This a great hotel for the money. I really liked the shark aquarium, it's very exotic. The only thing I got frustrated about was cheking in, it took me 45 minutes to check in because there was only one person working at the desk which is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.

Specifically booked this hotel to experience the new Rush Tower. Room was bigger than usual and the robes made my wife feel like a movie star. Everyone from the checkin staff to the cocktail waitresess were excemplary. Great location downtown with everything litrally at your doorstep. The Freemont Street Experience was fantastic!!. The new restaurant "Chart House" was excellent as well as the Gold Diggers lounge.

The kids had a great time in the slide that goes through the shark tank. However the arcade is pathetic and more than 50% of the machines were out of service. The hotel has a great selection of restaurants and a non smoking poker room. Some of the rooms are old and some of them have gone through recent renovations. The line in the lobby reception is completely unacceptable. Be prepared to stand there for hours(!) if you arrive in a "regular" hour.

My friend and I stayed here for four days and out of the four days that we spent here was ridiculous!!!! We couldn't find any parking at all!! I heard that they just build a new tower called the Rush Tower. It's a new hotel that they just build and they forgot to build another parking garage. Everyday when we come back to the hotel its like we have to drive around and fight for a parking because there isn't enough parking!! On the last day of our stay a security guy with a sign said parking garage full. He said that its full and we have do valet or park at the Plaza Hotel. Which I thought it was ridiculous. So it turns out that all the parking in the garage is for the Rush Tower people only!! He wouldn't let us park even if we told him that were staying here. When we parked the car at the Plaza and went up to our room we saw PLENTY OF EMPTY PARKING spaces!!! and seeing him letting some people coming in to park. It is SO RIDICULOUS!! I will NEVER stay here again! if i have to fight for parking!!!

Specifically booked this hotel because I wanted to experience the new Rush Tower. Pleasantly suprised with the size of the room and the amenities that came with it. The bathroom was large and the raintree showers were a nice touch. My wife enjoyed the bathrobes and slippers and of course the size of the closet. The Hotel is right on Freemont St. so the entire downtown experience is right at your feet. Shopping, casino hopping and of course the evening light shows made for fun filled, as well as relaxing and romantic days and evenings. Staff members were amazing and really went out of their way to make us feel special. The new tower restaurant Chart House was great as well as The Grotto, Red Sushi, and the Buffet has not lost anything either. Taxi and bus service put you right on the strip but with a few steps you can find all the excitement you need downtown. Will visit again soon.

We'd reserved a king-sized bed, but upon arrival, were stuck with two doubles... Were told we could "Maybe" change rooms the next day, but didn't bother. All in all, it wasn't bad for the money.
