If you want to be close to the Strip but not spend alot of your budget on accommodations, the Golden Palms is a no-frills, budget motel. Approximately one block from the Excalibur and New York New York, this is an older, budget motel in a convenient location with inexpensive, budget rooms. May have to use stair access to rooms.

The rooms at the Golden Palm have either one king or two queen beds, color television with remote, clock radio and phone with free local calls. Cable television stations such as HBO and CNN is at no extra charge.

The Lounge at Golden Palm has Karaoke with KG Frankie Almost from 10pm till 4am every night. You can view the action on a big-screen monitor.

There is a coffee shop on the premises. No set hours. Hours vary.

The pool area is open in the summer months only. No lifeguard-children must have adult supervision at all times.)
More Fun
Golden Palm has a Game Room on the premises and besides the Strip being so close, the Orleans is just a 1/2 mile west on Tropicana Ave. There, besides casino action, you'll find bowling, movie theatres, a video arcade and lots of restaurants including a great Buffet.
