    Guestrooms housed within the Tangiers Tower feature jewel-tone fabrics in amethyst, garnet and mauve. Color schemes include almond-tinted walls and pale wooden furnishings. One-bedroom suites offer rosewood-hued reproduction furniture. Room amenities include cable television. Tech-savvy enhancements include high-speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee.     Hotel Features
    Dining options include the House of Lords that serves steaks and seafood amid a baroque setting. The all-you-can-eat Sahara Buffet hosts champagne brunches on weekends. Paco's Bar & Grill prepares seafood and Mexican fare, while the NASCAR Café features chicken, ribs, steaks and burgers. Room service is available from 6 am until 10 pm daily. A business center contains three computer stations. The Destination Salon & Spa offers treatments such as Oxygen Facials, Shea Butter Scrubs with Aromatherapy and Paraffin Body Wraps.     A short guide to The Strip

    Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

    A sundeck, palm trees, and fountains surround the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel’s 5,000-square-foot seasonal pool and adjacent spa tub. Poolside bar and towel service is available when the pool is open.

    The hotel's fitness center, located on the 27th floor of the Tangiers Tower, features a variety of equipment, including two treadmills, two elliptical machines, two recumbant bikes, and a multi-purpose hydraulic weight unit.     The Sahara's 1,720 guest rooms range from 308 sq ft to 324 sq ft and offer your choice of either one king or two double beds.  Rollaway beds are available for $15/night.  Standard rooms are located in the Alexandria Tower or the Tunis Tower and has centrally-controlled heating and cooling system with some non-smoking rooms.  Deluxe rooms are larger rooms located in the Tangiers Towers and all feature individual climate- controlled heating and cooling, spectacular views, and most are non-smoking.  Each room features High-Speed Internet Access ($11.99/24hr fee applies), Voicemail, Electronic door locks, Hair Dryers, Irons/Ironing boards, Cable TV, and the latest Pay-Per-View Movies.

     

    Hotel Amenities

    The casino floor at the Sahara has been expanded to 85,000 square feet and features 26 crystal chandeliers, stained glass, and patterned mosaic tiles. There's a Poker Room, Keno lounge and a newly renovated Sports Book featuring plasma technology and improved seating and betting areas.  Enjoy the classic slots, video poker and keno machines, including the new Penny Lane area with over 80 penny slot machines!  Table games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and Pai-Gow Poker. The 16 table Poker Room offers daily tournaments in a non-smoking environment.  Sports fans are provided with 18 color televisions and sports promotions throughout the year.  Club Sahara at the Sahara Resort Casino stands apart from other slot clubs in that it awards players with both cash and comps.     Restaurants at the Sahara include Paco's Bar & Grill, The House of Lords, NASCAR Café, Caravan Coffee Shop (open 24 hours), and the Grind Cafe (open 24 hrs) featuring a redesigned interior and internet access (fee applies). The Sahara Buffet serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a Champagne Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.  Room Service is not available.

    Brand new Fitness Center opened in 2008.  Located on the 27th floor of the Tangiers Tower, it features FreeMotion Fitness (TM) equipment and each cardio unit has a 7" LCD TV monitor.  The famous Sahara pool and deck was recently refreshed with a new custom lounge chairs, plush pool towels, surround-sound music, private cabana rentals and a new food & drink menu.  Hours are 9am till 6pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  The Destination Spa Salon is a full-service salon and spa featuring a full menu of professional treatments including body wraps, European facials, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, manicures, pedicures, waxing, hair styling and cosmetic makeovers.

     

    More Fun
    An innovative roller coaster, SPEED, is launched from inside the NASCAR Café at the Sahara Resort Casino and accelerates to 70 miles per hour in 2 seconds. Utilizing electromagnetic force, SPEED accelerates to high speeds instantaneously, causing a G Force of 3.5!

     

    At the NASCAR Cafe, the 35,000-square foot Las Vegas Cyber Speedway will fulfill your need for speed! Mounted on hydraulic bases, the Cyber Speedway cars provide a realistic simulated race car driving experience.

    The Magic and Tigers of Rick Thomas is showing at the Sahara Theater. Showas are performed Tuesday through Sunday at 7 PM. Matinee performances are also held on Saturdays and Sundays at 4 PM. The Comedy Stop brings laughs to the Congo Room nightly at 9 PM. The show features three different comedians each week. One of Las Vegas' first true lounges, the Casbar Lounge opened in 1954 and continues to present nightly entertainment from smooth jazz to rock and roll. Complimentary performances nightly. Comprising 85,000 square feet and featuring an enormous glass chandelier and elaborately decorated columns, the Casino offers slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, keno, a poker room with daily tournaments, and a race and sports book.


    Club Sahara offers complimentary membership cards that reward slot play with points to earn cash and comp dollars toward rooms, meals, shows, and services.

    House of Lords - One of Las Vegas' oldest steakhouses. Fine dining. Plush booths and cascading waterfalls. Classic steakhouse fare includes bone-in beef rib-eye steak, filet mignon, seafood, and pasta. Adjacent bar serves small plates. Dinner served Monday-Saturday.


    NASCAR Café - Two-level restaurant. Features race cars hanging from ceiling; giant projection screens showcasing televised NASCAR races. Menu includes ribs, chicken, steaks, pasta, and burgers. Open from late morning to late evening; extended hours on weekends.


    Paco's Bar & Grill - Mexican cuisine and contemporary coastal dishes. Complimentary chips and salsa or guacamole dip. Happy Hour specials from 9 PM. Dinner served Thursday - Monday.


    Sahara Buffet - All-you-can-eat buffets. Made-to-order omelets. Carving stations, Asian specialties, salad bar, desserts. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend Champagne brunch served.


    Caravan Coffee Show - Casual dining. Complete steak and prime-rib dinners (limited hours), daily all-you-can-eat specials, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. Open 24 hours.
