| Excellent hotel for the money. There were no long lines at check in and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and nice. I've stayed in lots of hotels where the rooms were not as nice and paid a lot more. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Vegas. |

| Parking is terrible, too much walking, especially when physically handicapped. |

| The hotel has some realy old and dingy parts to it so hope that you are placed in the new part of the hotel. The reception area has a constant smell of smoke which was a major turn off from the moment I walked into the building. The casino floor had less smoke smell than the reception area. Go figure. I like to play craps and I found only one crap table open and it was run buy some rude and apperently unhappy workers. On the weekend night the $5 table went up to $10 which is a little too rich for me and the other table is still not open. This leaves me with having to leave the hotel to play someplace else. Since the hotel is not connected to the monorail system getting to other hotels on the strip is just a little more work. Attending a convension at the sametime didn't alway leave me with the luxury of finding transportation to other entertainment locations. I ofen like to play at the hotel I'm staying at when attending a convetion. The one cafe that was reasonably price was located near the conference halls. It closes eary which was a turn off. I did eat at the steak house one evening and the food was very good. At a price of over $110.00 for 2 with only 2 glasses of $10 wine and desert I would have been upset at this price if the food and service were not exceptional. We were in one conference hall where projectors were used and we were told that the lights in the front of the room could not be dimmed or turned off. This is not good for presentations. I found the way the hotel labled the room numbers and the elevator confusing and silly. Upon your first visit you too will be lost as to which button to push. I can certainly see why Hotels.com has it listed as a 3 star and maybe it should even be a 2.5 or 2.75 star if there ever is such a rating. |

| My major disappointment was with the maintenance of the room in which we stayed. On the first night(Wed), one of the beds was dirty (old linen) and had what appeared to be mucous from someone's nose on the sheets. We called the front desk twice and someone finally came to change it after 45 minutes. The floor was not vacuumed and we dropped a price tag from a new piece of clothing on the floor, where it stayed from Wednesday through Friday.
In the bathroom, a little sign giving info about the towells, was in the same spot on the floor from Wed thru Fri. It appeared that the floor was not mopped or swept until Saturday.
The bellman was very good, the waiters for room service were excellent. The housekeeper who came to change the linen on the first night was thorough and efficient after the 45 minute wait. I would be reluctant to stay there again! |

| When I arrived at the hotel I was very impressed with the room. It's very well decorated but not in the best location, room not very clean and the maid service forget toilet paper. When I called to get some, it took 30min. to arrive. Even with this I still was going to stay 2 more night but when I called downstairs no one from the front desk answered (phone rang at least 15-20 times). I then asked to speak to a manager and of course got an answer machine; I left a message and waited 4 days with no call back from the manager. |

| I arrived at 2:00p.m, check-in wasn't until 4:00p.m but they allowed me to check in. The room was spacious, clean and smelled clean. After living in Vegas for 35 years, I have seen some places not so nice, but was really a nice treat staying at the Riviera.Room complete with a refrigerator, flat screen TV.Hotel was really quite and the bed was perfect.I would stay there again. Plus the hotel does not charge a resort fee as so many are doing these days. |

| The Riviera Hotel beginning with Staff at the Registration Desk are most obliging and very professional. Overall, I always try to stay at the Riviera because it is near my business and easy to get in and out. Don't forget to try the Hotels best restaurant "Kady's". Salads are the best and service is outstanding. |

| At the price I paid I was expecting much worse. I travel 100 days a year for work so was ready. My room was like a courtyard room in a casino a short walk from convetion center.
I would stay again. |
