| I was outraged that there was no teapot or coffee pot in the "suite" to make a cup of either. I had to order a pot of tea from room service that ended up costing me $12...I had to go out and buy my own teapot at $20 as I drink tea all day long...Very disappointed that such an otherwise luxurious hotel did not have this amenity...
Also I found the hotel itself to be very dark, (the lobby and rooms).
Also, the pool food service was horrible and didn't even have milk to go with tea and/or coffee...
Other than that loved Las Vegas but felt the Mandalay Bay Hotel was too far away from it all. |

| I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were very nice and very comfortable. The staff was attentive and amazing. They allowed us to check in 4 hours earlier than they were supposed to since we were already there. Great room and great stay |

| We stayed on a sunday night and got the suite for a great deal... The hotel staff are all extremely friendly. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The one thing I did notice is the snack bar area had a lot of dust on the products. The rest of the room was very clean. Overall great experience. I liked the fact that they did not have a casino in the hotel so it made it a little quieter and yet the Mandalay Bay casino is just a few footsteps away. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to check out the pool, but we did have a view of it from our room and it looked very nice with the beach and everything. |

| Checked in late (9 pm) due to late flight. Was supposed to stay at theHotel but they overbooked and did not have any rooms left. Told me that I would be upgraded to a room in the Mandalay Bay next door. I was disappointed at first, but didn't realize that they upgraded me to a penthouse suite as opposed to a regular room. Beautiful place! Great bathrooms.. very luxurious. I was impressed with the customer service in order to avoid an unhappy customer. Had absolutely no complaints and will stay at another Mandalay Bay or MGM property during my next trip to Vegas. Bed was wonderful and there are plenty of restaurants/lounges downstairs. Free wifi would be nice but is not really a deciding factor for me personally. |

| Best Hotel in Vegas - non-gambler's opinion.
The first hotel in Las Vegas that I wouldn't mind staying at even if it was not in Vegas. There was no cheap liquor and cigarette smell that is usually the hallmark of Casino Hotels. The service was almost professional by european standards (which is higher then Vegas). The place really felt like a resort/spa at times.
Excellent and well worth the price. |

| Check in and check out were slow. For the four days we were there, there was almost always 8-20+ people in line at check-in/out desk. For such a high-end (!?) hotel, th walls, floors, and ceilings are suprisingly thin. When in the room, we could often hear people talking all around us! You can even hear people simply walking down the hallways. Remember that when TheHotel room description says "internet available" this does NOT equal FREE access. Also paid for the next room up in service/price level for my parents. The room was furnished very nearly the same with one exception - there was LESS storage available. Makes sense since the room was smaller too! Odd since it was described as bigger. We were treated to the smells of bacon, eggs, etc every morning even though we were several stories above what appeared to be kitchen vents (yes the windows were closed)! Remember TheHotel is next to a parking garage so you will probably be treated to at least one (or more) car alarm going off, usually for long periods. I have stayed in other 5 star hotels and even 3 star hotels that were just as clean, well appointed, quieter, free internet access, etc for cheaper rates. In short, TheHotel is not much of an improvement over its 'sister' hotel for much more money. All-in-all, we were not impressed. Prices at the hotel restaurants, cafe's, etc are higher than other similar places around TheHotel, but at least their service is much slower. We constantly had to wait to be seated (usually several minutes) even though the restaurants were 80% empty! Weird. TheHotel and attached casino suffer very much from lack of signage directing one where things are, what signage there is sometimes not the clearest. With the amont of wall space available, some small unobtrusive wall plaques with directions could be helpful. We saw many people having trouble finding things and the provided maps are not the greatest. |
