Ellis Island casino has good beer and great food (pizza, BBQ, and coffee shop). |

| Pros- It took dogs. It was cheap. Lots of free parking. The adjacent casino has good pizza and even better root beer! Very close to the strip.
Cons- Pet fee that was not advertised. Halls were dirty. Bed was uncomfortable. Towels were rough. Room was outdated and the AC had a mind of it's own. Front desk staff were less than helpful.
Despite all these cons... I would stay again if I was passing through. If I wanted a "vacation" though, I would stay somewhere classier. |

| The rooms were ok. The ajoining restraunt and casino were nice. The food was reasonable and good. The casino had a fun kareoke bar. In the morning there were two people sleeping in the hallways, passed out. Lots of homeless people around outside. |

| I always stay on the strip but I had my dog with me and there are no hotels on the strip where you can bring your dog. This is not Bellagio by any means but clean room, great location, at an incredible price. I would highly recommend it as a low-cost alternative or if you have a pet and want to be close to the strip. |

| We stayed there on a sunday because everything else was too expensive. The room was not very clean, it was a small and very dark. |

| the only thing we had trouble with was using the key card. some outside doors did not work at all and some were very hard to work, although our room key worked fine and also the ice machine next to our room did not work. otherwise we were very satisified. |

| Spending the night here was not that bad. The rooms were pretty decent and everything was cleaned inside the rooms but the outside hallways were pretty trashed. I saw trash in the hallways for the two days that we were there. Doesn't anyone come out and roam the halls? I felt like cleaning it up myself.
They take pets which is good they dont really have a place to walk the dogs but little patches of grass and dirt here and there.
I would stay here again for a night or two. |

| This Super 8 is an excellent alternative, especially on weekends, to the pricey hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. It's 1 1/2 blocks from the Strip, close enough for an easy walk. Don't expect the Bellagio and you'll be pleased with it. |
