| The price was great but because it was cheep, I did not expect too much. No microwave available, fridge, etc. The rooms are older and need some maintanance. We had to ask for light bulbs because 3 were burned out. The maid brought 2, but only one was the correct kind. She headed home and did not bring the 2 energy bulbs that were needed. The resteraunt is expensive but the food was good. Just can't see paying $15.00 for a hamburger!!! Breakfast was somewhat reasonable though. |

| Nice getaway place for a short stay. Really close by to Las Vegas and very different from the desert environment, so, for a quick break from the usual city life it's great. We pulled into the parking lot area just in time to see two of the biggest white tail deer go by. Really thrilling for me. Reminded me of when I lived in Montana. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Enjoy. |

| If you want to get away from the busy casino life but do not want to leave Las Vegas. I highly recommend The Resort on Mount Charleston. It is a relaxing drive to the resort, the employee's are friendly and professionals. It was great to look out the window and see nature, not the buildings and lights of Las Vegas.
My wife and I had a great anniversary at Las Vegas best kept secret. |

| The remodeling has made this resort the best kept secret in Nevada. The off-season, mid-week rates for fall and winter are as low as a tent campsite. The resort is beautiful in and out. The rooms are clean, and the view are priceless. Staff is polite and helpful. The lobby boasts a fireplace and comfortable couches and chairs. There is a restaurant, a bar, and a small snack bistro. It is hard to believe more people have not discovered this place. Staff tells me that future renovations include addition of a pool and sauna, as well as a deck addition that will hang out over the nearby cliff that will include sliding glass doors allowing access to the deck.
I will definitely return again soon |

| Everything is good, I got only one problem, I set up the heater for night at 75 but after a while that went down to 70, I guess they have a new technologie to save money and let people to freeze. |

| The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was comfortable. The Hotel was being worked on, but no problem, because we got the rooms cheap and were told about that before we got there. I think the only problem we had was the restaurant was a little expensive and not the greatest. My wife, however loved her dinner, but mine was not as good. Not bad, mind you, just not as good as the price warranted.
If you get a room on the second or third floor, you will have to walk up as there is no elevator, but, once again I asked to be put up there so I won't complain about that.
It is very close to Las Vegas, so locals can swing up there quickly for a quick getaway. The scenery is beautiful and if you take a drive around you can get some beautiful photos.
Like the review title says it's good, but can be better, but they are working towards that goal. |

| The lobby and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are normal hotel rooms. The staff was fantastic: very professional and helpful. It's a bit of a drive to Vegas, however, but the price can't be beat! Would definitely recommend it to others. |

| Very comfortable and enjoyable hotel. Simple, clean and cozy. The only negative was the dining room. The food was fabulous, but service was under educated on how to serve properly. I will stay and eat there again, but hopefully management is adjusting. |

| A perfect place just a short drive from Vegas to experience cool weather and mountain hiking. The resort is perfectly located near the trails and offers a comfortable place to sleep and eat after some great exercise and fresh air. |
