Breakfast menus generally include a light, continental breakfast with juice, coffee, and a danish or toast. You can also select full breakfast options from some Las Vegas hotels, like the Rio. Choices can include eggs any style imaginable, omelets with amazing treats added, fancy pancakes, stuffed French toast and more. And You can always enjoy a glass of Champagne or a Mimosa with your breakfast.

The best way to order breakfast is to order it the night before. Many hotels offer a card where you can check off your breakfast selections and choose what time you want your food delivered. Then, before going to sleep, you simply hang the card outside your room on the doorknob. The room service staff comes by and collects all the cards the evening before. Then, they prepare your meals at the time you specify on the card and deliver the food to your room very promptly. This is great if you don't want to place an order in the morning and then have to wait for it to be delivered.

If the gratuity is added, then you do not need to tip the employee who delivers your order to your room. However, if the tip isn't already included, a tip of at least 15 percent is expected and appreciated.

To call for room service, there is normally a code listed on the telephone inside your room. If you can't find the code for room service, dial the front desk of the hotel and they will be able to transfer you to room service.

Room service is great if you are up very late and don't feel like finding a 24-hour cafe. It's also perfect for the morning. Room service can deliver your breakfast on an elegant rolling cart. Your bacon will be sizzling, your juice will be cold, and your coffee will be hot - and you don't even have to get out your pajamas to eat it!

When the attendant arrives at your room, at most hotels, he/she will wheel the cart into the room for you, unless you specifically ask him to leave it outside. Even if the hotel you are staying in doesn't have a 24-hour cafe, chances are the hotel next door will!

Fast Food
Just because you are in Vegas doesn't mean you always have to eat in the hotels and casinos. On the Las Vegas Strip and throughout Las Vegas, you can find of fast food restaurants, many of which are open 24-hours-a-day.

Groceries
If you really want to save money on food while you are in Las Vegas, you can choose to stay at an extended stay hotel. These hotels normally have a kitchenette, so you can buy groceries from the local market and cook your own meals.

Though the cost of food on the room service menu at most major
hotels and resorts in Las Vegas is high, you need to check to see if the gratuity is included. Many hotels add an automatic 15 percent or higher gratuity on top of the bill. If your hotel does so, you do not need to tip the room service attendant anything additional, unless the service is exceptional.

For example, if the attendant is prompt, courteous and attentive, or if he goes out of his way to bring you something extra, then you can tip a few dollars on top of the built-in tip.

If your hotel does not add in the gratuity amount, then you will need to tip directly. Standard tips for room service are normally 15-20 percent. Again, if you receive anything extra, try to tip a little bit more. On the other hand, if there is a problem with your room service delivery, don't deduct from the waiter's tip unless it's something that he/she can actually control. Remember, the attendants don't cook the food, they only deliver it.
