Gaming
• The Golden Gate, less than a mile from Bridger Inn, is the oldest casino in Las Vegas. Built in 1906, it harkens back to the days of the Rat Pack. Frequenters of the casino boast that it has the familiar scents of days past and its $2 shrimp cocktail is a treat for an unbeatable price.
• Along Fremont Street, the historic Golden Nugget and Binion’s Gambling Hall both enhance the Old Vegas gambling experience.
• The famous Las Vegas Strip is less than 3 miles away. All the fun and most recent innovations are along the Boulevard. Guests to the strip can enjoy gaming at upscale casinos like Luxor, or have an exciting adventure at the MGM Grand. Gambling on the strip is pricy in comparison to old Vegas, but the options for games are more extensive and the environments vary greatly.
Entertainment
• Work with Front Desk staff to set up a special trip through a touring company. The touring company will pick you up from the lobby of this cheap Vegas hotel and take you to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Colorado River or Red Rocks Canyon. If you are not the outdoorsy type, set up a helicopter tour of Las Vegas day or night, and if you seek adventure, let the tour guides take you skydiving, river rafting or bungee jumping.
• Visit Cashman Field, less than a mile from the hotel, to enjoy a Las Vegas 51’s baseball game.
Dining at Bridger Inn
Guests at the Bridger Inn are about 3 minutes away from Hugo’s Cellar—a great date spot and perfect for special occasions. It is one of Las Vegas’ culture hot spots. Majoring in steak and seafood, Hugo’s Cellar serves a fixed menu. The waiters prepare a salad for each guest at the tableside, and all women are presented a rose as part of the dining experience.
Diners on a budget may enjoy Vic and Anthony’s or the Paradise Buffet. Both restaurants supply great American tradition, and both have special focus on Italian cuisine that is hard to beat. The environment at Vic and Anthony’s is lively and loud; Paradise Buffet, on casino grounds, flashes and shines.
Shopping
• All the shopping you could ever want is within a mile of the lobby doors. The Las Vegas Premium Outlets feature dozens of stores that retail everything from clothing to dinnerware.
• Under three miles from Bridger, the Convention Center attracts trade shows that display cars, or sell local wares from around the state. Check dates to see what is going on at the Convention Center when you come to town.
