Four Seasons, Las Vegas Details

Overview
The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas offers a coveted location directly on The Strip, yet it feels worlds apart from the noise and bustle. World-class gaming, entertainment, and nightlife are just steps or a short drive away. (And you can access The Mandalay Bay Resort--including the famous wave pool--directly via a private entrance.)

This 5-star Las Vegas hotel is non-gaming and non-smoking--a rarity on The Strip-- but the hotel is more exceptional for what it does offer: a private porte-cochere entry, an elegant Italian-marble lobby with 2 grand staircases, and, most important, the exemplary service you expect from The Four Seasons--from the personalized greetings to the expert concierge staff.

Picture yourself lounging by the outdoor pool, with chilled cucumber slices shading your eyes while the Sunglass Butler cleans your Ray-Bans. A pool attendant spritzes you with a cooling Evian mist and offers you complimentary fruit. When night falls, you can savor sizzling steak and a signature potato creation at the award-winning Charlie Palmer Steak, or dine in the casual-chic Verandah, with a terrace overlooking the pool. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Wireless Internet access is available. Have Sin City’s excesses taken a toll? Visit The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, a perennial entry on lists of top hotel spas.

Venture next door to the Mandalay Bay Resort, offering Four Seasons guests signing privileges at its 22 restaurants and bars--as well as access to its 11-acre pool area. If you want to explore more of Vegas, the complimentary car service will take you within 3 miles of the hotel.

Private express elevators whisk you high above the crowds to your guestroom or suite in the Mandalay Bay tower. You’ll see The Strip, the desert, or surrounding mountains from floor-to-ceiling windows. Sink into your signature Four Seasons bed, enveloped in luxury linens and a down duvet. Watch a movie on the 42-inch plasma TV with DVD player. In the marble bathroom, you can relax in the soaking tub or refresh in the separate glass-walled shower. L’Occitane bath amenities and thick terry robes are provided, too. Wireless and wired Internet access are available. Turndown service helps you ease into evening. Rollaway beds are available for a fee.

Hotel Features
Opened in 1999, this hotel is staffed with professionals who pride themselves on name recognition and have created an environment that feels much more like an elegant home than a hotel. Complete with fresh flowers and complimentary apples, the lobby is a stylish venue where sunlight reflects off Italian marble floors and polished wood interiors. Beneath blue skies and soaring palms, the 8,000 square-foot garden is an inspiring outdoor experience. This outdoor oasis also boasts a free-form splash pool that is surrounded by chaise lounge chairs and Romanesque columns. The Spa unveiled a line of treatments that were designed to harness the healing powers of the desert. With 16 elegant treatment rooms and such remedies as the Thai Herbal Poultice Massage, The Spa has secured a place among Conde Nast Traveler's 'Top 10 Resort Spas in North America and the Caribbean.'

Expert Tip
In addition to the Four Seasons Las Vegas' many amenities, guests have access to several free-form pools, a wave pool beach, a lazy river and 22 restaurants at the adjacent Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Spa information

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has been named one of the Top 10 Resort Spas in North America and the Caribbean by Condé Nast Traveler. This lofty reputation is earned by both the spa's expansive size--to the tune of 16 treatment rooms--and its treatment menu, which integrates methods and ingredients from international spa traditions and from the desert surrounding Las Vegas. Unwind in the separate men’s and women’s relaxation rooms and steam rooms, or relax in the co-ed Zen lounge.

Signature treatments include the Everlasting Flower Stone Facial and the Desert Flower Stone Massage, holistic experiences that use nature-derived ingredients, like basalt stones and desert cactus oil, to tame your knotty muscles and tired skin. Peruse the expansive menu for other options, such as Balinese massage, the Thai-influenced Herbal Poultice Massage, and the Champagne Mud Wrap.

Guests under 16 years of age are not permitted in the spa area. Guests 16-18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to visit the spa.

Dining at Four Seasons

The Four Seasons Las Vegas offers casual and fine dining, plus a relaxed poolside bar with a menu of beach-worthy cocktails. You can also head next door to the Mandalay Bay Resort, where you’ll enjoy signing privileges at 22 restaurants and bars. In the mood for a little more privacy? Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Charlie Palmer Steak - This award-winning steakhouse takes an innovative approach to meat, with a rotating menu that features signature potato side dishes. The bar hosts live entertainment weekend evenings.

Verandah - Dine casually in the dining room or on the expansive patio. The menu features Italian dishes with contemporary American influences. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with weekend buffet breakfast. Afternoon tea available daily; reservations required on weekends.

Pool Bar - Sidle up to this poolside bar and order a tropical drink, sandwich, or salad, or treat yourself to a cold dessert.

A short guide to The Strip

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Recreation

At the Four Seasons, the curved outdoor pool is surrounded by a deck with lounge areas and 2 spa tubs. Recline on a lime-colored lounge chair, and relaxation comes to you in the form of smoothies, light meals, and the services of the Sunglass Butler, who will restore your shades to pristine condition. Attendants stop by with sliced fruit, eye-cooling cucumber slices, and mists of chilled Evian water for parched sunbathers.

A few steps from the pool area is the 10,000-plus-square-foot fitness center, which features steam rooms, spacious locker rooms, strength-training equipment, and cardio machines with headphones and personal TVs. Chilled towels and complimentary mineral water are also provided.

As a guest of the Four Seasons, you also enjoy access to the 11-acre pool area at the adjoining Mandalay Bay Resort. Drift in the lazy river, float in 3 freeform pools, or stretch out on the sand--their beach has 2,700 tons of it. Mandalay Bay also offers aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes (surcharges apply).
