The historic Golden Gate Hotel and Casino is a tourist-class hotel and casino, located eight miles from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. An outstanding value, this landmark hotel is situated at the beginning of the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas.

Built in 1906, The Golden Gate has the distinction of being the oldest downtown hotel,  and the most intimate, with just 106 rooms. Hotel Rooms
The Hotel Rooms offer modern comforts and amenities. These rooms have been updated and renovated most recently in 2009, without spoiling the ambiance of this historic hotel. Rooms offer one queen bed as well as in-room coffee, complimentary newspaper, cable TV, voice mail services and computer ports. Roll-away beds are not available.

Gaming

Everybody knows that the downtown casinos have the loosest slots!  Choose from over 400 slot machines, as well as a wide variety of table games.  The Golden Gate also has a Sports Book for your gaming pleasure.

Dining at Golden Gate

The Golden Gate is renowned for originating the famous shrimp cocktail and still offers them for $1.99 at its Shrimp Bar and Deli. Another of the hotel's high points is the Bay City Diner, which serves outstanding traditional entrees at value prices. Don’t be alarmed if you see emergency personnel gathered inside. The Bay City Diner is a favorite of locals who know a good meal.
