| We chose this hotel only because we were going to see Chris Isaak at the Grand Events Center. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and grounds were. Everyone from the front desk staff to security staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Because this resort's logo is "we love locals" we found everything reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is $4.99 and has everything! It includes your beverages as well.
There is a shuttle to the strip and airport. You have to stop by the bell desk a half hour before the shuttle leaves to get a pass. I don't know how busy it gets as we were the only 2 leaving for the airport at that time.
The pool area is very nice and even has a 'beach.' Only problem when we were there was that the heater was broken and the water was ice cold!
If you don't need to go to the strip, this is a great place to stay. There is a shopping area called "The District" across the street with clothing/housewares stores and dining. The Cheesecake Factory is withing walking distance as well.
Only drawback is the resort fee of $24.99/day + taxes. |

| Beautiful hotel. Nice to be off the strip but within 8 to 10 minutes. Helpful friendly staff. Nice pool area. Great fitness area and spa. Would definitely stay again. |

| The hotel was beautiful and would highly recommend -- Only difficulty was finding the entrance and then the amount of distance to get to your actual room. Otherwise would return in a minute for another stay! |

| It's a nice hotel... But nothing special. Casino very smokey. The hotel is away from casino. That's good and bad ... There is nothing really to do around the hotel. Or even in there. I would not recommend this hotel. Unless you go summer time and want to relax. |
