Hotel Rooms

This 19-story hotel offers 2,640 Hotel Rooms with pale-wood furnishings and neutral color schemes. Sitting areas include tables and two chairs. Bathrooms contain shower/tub combinations. Luv Tub Rooms feature beds and oversized bathtubs positioned beneath mirrors.  Bathrooms boast granite vanities and are stocked with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Wireless Internet access is available, for a fee.


PetStay Rooms

Imperial Palace is rolling out the red carpet for traveling dogs, with the launch of "PetStay," the resort's new pet-friendly hotel program. (Reservations can be booked online or over phone, at 1-800-442-4002)

Guests traveling with dogs must book the "Pet Stay" rate category. Pets are not permitted in other rate or room category.

Guests participating in the PetStay program are greeted by several canine-friendly in-room amenities including a mat, food and water dishes, disposable waste bags and dog treats. Imperial Palace features a designated PetStay area within the hotel, equipped with welcome packets that direct guests to outdoor relief areas and dog walking routes as well as specialty room service menus. Additional information about dog-friendly items for purchase and nearby dog services (such as grooming, walking and veterinary care) is available upon Check-In at each of the participating resorts.


Recreation

Open seasonally, a 75-x-45-foot outdoor pool is bordered by a rock garden. The surrounding sundeck, cooled by misters, includes a 12-person spa tub, open year-round. Poolside massage and rental cabanas with TVs, ceiling fans, and padded lounge chairs are available.

A short guide to The Strip

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

    Muscle Musical returns to the Las Vegas Strip, as Matsuri has arrived at Imperial Palace!

    Earning critical acclaim at the Riviera in 2006 and Sahara in 2007, Matsuri is a unique show that transcends language. No words are necessary, as highly skilled, athletic performers let their muscles do the talking. Costumes by world-famous designer Junko Koshino add to the visual spectacle of this showcase for traditional Japanese culture--with an original twist!

    The 75-minute show features a cast of 18 Japanese athletes who perform stunts like Human Jump Rope, Judo Tango, Lion Dance and Foot Drums. Contagious energy and mesmerizing feats of strength send audiences home wide-eyed, with grins sized to match.

    See Matsuri for yourself inside the Imperial Showroom every day but Tuesday, starting July 31. Showtimes are 4 pm daily, with an additional 8 pm show on Fridays and an extra 1 pm show on Saturdays. Tickets are $49.95 plus applicable taxes and fees. VIP seats are $59.99.

    Imperial Hawaiian Luau is a poolside buffet and Polynesian revue on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings from mid-April to late October. Highlighted by roasted suckling pig, the feast includes unlimited mai tais, piña coladas, and fruit punch. Hula lessons and sing-alongs are part of the fun.

    Smokey Robinson Presents Australia's Human Nature - The Ultimate Celebration of Motown takes center stage in the newly remodeled Imperial Palace Showroom. Human Nature, an Australian quartet, has opened for superstars such as Celine Dion and Michael Jackson. The show is presented nightly (except Fridays) at 8 PM.

    The 75,000-square-foot casino includes poker and a race-and-sports book and features Dealertainers, celebrity look-alike blackjack dealers who combine gaming and entertainment from noon to 4 AM daily. The casino also has a Champagne Pit, a tribute to Las Vegas' Rat Pack era featuring music from the early 1960s and complimentary champagne.

    The King's Ransom Museum at Imperial Palace houses Elvis Presley artifacts and some of his personal treasures. The collection will be at the hotel from October 21, 2009 until April 2010. The King's Ransom Museum is on the third floor of the casino and is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 6 PM. Admission is $10.

    Open nightly, Karaoke Club offers some 15,000 songs and permits performers to record their performances on DVDs.

    Rockhouse Bar and Nightclub is open each night.

    A pianist entertains Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings in Nomiya Lounge. Other Asian-themed drinking spots include the Sake, Mai Tai, and Ginza bars.

    The Asian-themed Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino is located on the Strip in Las Vegas, Nev., within one mile of Fashion Show Mall and Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Convention Center stands less than three miles away.
