Location
Located on the far south end of The Strip in Las Vegas, NV, Luxor Hotel and Casino is connected to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and and stands adjacent to Excalibur Hotel Casino.

Hotel Features
Included in the Luxor Hotel and Casino is a 30-story pyramid, two 22-story towers cloaked in bronze glass and a 10-story sphinx. The world's most powerful light beam, with 42.3 billion candlepower, shines from atop the pyramid. This light is visible at flight level 250 miles away and from outer space. Dining venues include TENDER steak & seafood, T&T (Tacos & Tequila) and specialty coffees at three Starbucks locations. Hotel and casino guests may stop by Aurora Lounge Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons for a welcome reception with complimentary champagne and hors d'oeuvres.
Recreation includes gaming action at the 120,000-square-foot casino. Four seasonal outdoor pools are surrounded by canopied beds and poolside cabanas. In winter, Luxor guests have access to the adult-only and all-ages pools at the Excalibur by showing their room keys. Pampering treatments are available at Nurture, the Spa at Luxor, which serves complimentary fruit, juice and water, and offers ginger-scented showers and spa tubs. Teeth whitening, Warm Buttered Stone Massage and Citrus Marine Detox are popular treatments. The limited-hour fitness room features cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, yoga balls and free weights. The hotel's entertainment venues feature the Cirque du Soleil show, CRISS ANGEL Believe, comedian Carrot Top, Menopause The Musical and the adult revue, Fantasy.

Things to do

Whether you're in the mood to laugh, dance, or simply be amazed, entertainment takes center stage at Luxor. Watch one of the world's top magicians astound with an exciting evening of comedy and danger at CRISS ANGEL Believe, with Angel and Cirque du Soleil tag-teaming your imagination with mind-blowing illusions.

For adults only, there's FANTASY, where vivacious lead singer Lorena Peril and a cast of gorgeous dancers perform 17 high-energy numbers to the beat of today's top music. You can also tour the twisted yet ingenious brain beneath the Carrot Top--the veteran prop comic cracks up audiences 6 nights a week.

A little levity goes a long way in Menopause The Musical, a celebration of women and the change. Featuring Queen Emily from America's Got Talent, this riotous musical parody will have you laughing and dancing at the same time.

Schedules and availability are subject to change without notice; for more information on current shows, contact the hotel at the number listed on the reservation confirmation received after booking via this web site.

Dining at Luxor

No matter what your day holds, Luxor has dining covered, from a high-end steakhouse to buffet and 24-hour restaurants. Room service is also available 24 hours. When you're on the go, you can swing by the food court, New York-style deli, and 3 Starbucks locations, but for sit-down meals, options include:

TENDER steak & seafood - Living up to its name, TENDER offers 6 different cuts of succulent USDA-prime beef, featured alongside fresh seafood flown in daily from places like Hawaii and Alaska. The extensive wine list earned the 2009 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Dinner only.

T&T (Tacos & Tequila) - A feast for the eyes and the taste buds, T&T is a rock-and-roll creation of chef Richard Sandoval and designer Adam Tihany, with flavorful fare capturing elements of traditional and modern Mexican cuisine. Be sure to stop by for happy hour (or a lively nightcap). Lunch and dinner.

Pyramid Café - Extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus offer something for everybody at this casual restaurant. Breeze through a Continental breakfast if you're in a hurry, or sit down to plate-size buttermilk pancakes. Try the chicken Caesar on focaccia, or the prime rib.

Backstage Deli - You'll think you've died and gone to kosher heaven! Pack your pretzel bread with corned beef, and load caramelized onions high on that marble rye, because this spot is famous for its New York-style triple-decker sandwiches. Get a taste of the Big Apple in the heart of the desert. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

MORE The Buffet at Luxor - Nothing spells casual dining like a buffet with a colorful assortment of specialties from around the globe. MORE invites you to come back again and again to its 30-foot salad bar, homemade pizza and omelet stations, and selection of French pastries (and sugar-free desserts). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

    Recreation

An oasis in the Vegas desert, Luxor's outdoor pool complex spans over 5 acres. Nothing beats sunning in a lounge chair or cabana while enjoying the personal service of poolside beverage attendants. (The pool complex is open seasonally; in the winter, you have access to the adults-only and kids' pools at the neighboring Excalibur.)

If a lounge chair alone won't do, step up to a luxury cabana (surcharge), which comes equipped with cushioned lounge chairs and a dining table. Relax and enjoy the 40-inch plasma TV and cooling mist system. You also get a refrigerator with assorted refreshments.

Want to hit the links? The concierge can book tee times at any of the area's gorgeous golf courses, just minutes away from the Vegas Strip.

    Overview
Located at the south end of the Vegas Strip, Luxor Hotel and Casino's regal 30-story pyramid shines a powerful light toward the sky like a beacon in the Nevada desert. With all the glitz and glamour you would expect from a Las Vegas mega-hotel, Luxor offers dining, entertainment, and 24/7 casino excitement designed to have you feeling like royalty.

Your seat is ready and waiting at over 87 table games and 1,500 slots in the casino. Try your hand in the poker room, race and sports book, or--if you're on fire--the high-limit area. When the gaming gets too hot, you can cool your heels at the pool, or unwind in a spa tub. And if your idea of relaxation involves a massage and a facial, recharge at Nurture Spa and Salon before stepping out for the evening.

Luxor shows offer something for everyone: CRISS ANGEL Believe is a mesmerizing collaboration between the "Magician of the Century" and Cirque du Soleil, while the adults-only FANTASY revue showcases dance and powerhouse vocals. For laughs, catch prop comic Carrot Top, or Menopause, the Musical. Or get in on the action at 8 bars and clubs. DJs spin at posh LAX Nightclub (and you might spot a celeb in the exclusive ultra-VIP lofts). Venturing out? Luxor offers free valet and self parking.

Sooner or later, you have to break for food, and it's never a gamble at Luxor. Among staples like buffet dining and a 24-hour café are some standouts. Award-winning chef K.C. Fazel's TENDER steak & seafood is a great place for an elegant meal, while modern Mexican fare meets rock-and-roll style at T&T. (24-hour in-room dining is, of course, always an option.)

After a long day of fun by the pool or shopping at 9 onsite boutiques, fall into the comfort of your spacious room or luxury suite. (You can stay in one of two towers, or in the Luxor pyramid.) Check your email with wired or wireless high-speed Internet access (included in the resort fee), or kick back with a pay movie. Marble bathrooms are stocked with signature bath amenities from Nurture Spa and Salon.
