The hotel was nice and so was the staff. But, I didn't like the location. The hotel was far away from even the middle of the strip which made us have to always catch cabs or the shuttle.

The MGM Grand is BIG... Don't expect much if any personal service, this is just a nice sleeping "warehouse" like most of the Las Vegas casino properties. Room was nice, but despite telling the maid I was leaving my room for the day at 8am, my room was never cleaned... Nice rooms, very nice selection of resturants on property, but be prepared to fend for yourself.

An experience. The hotel was impressive from the lions in the lobby to the impressive array of casinos and bar facilities. The hotel rooms are excellent but it would have been nice to have facilities to make tea and coffee.

The room was clean, conveniently laid out, and certainly met all my needs. The AC easily adjusted to the comfort level I preferred with an adjustment to the thermostat. The room is starting to show its age, but is maintained well. I checked in at the airport desk, which I think saved me some time, and is a nice option. Checking out was lengthy...and even with multiple lines it was stressful with a departure time at the airport pending. Allow plenty of time for check out if you have a morning flight. Overall, with an online discount and weekday rates---it's a good value, and great location--short taxi ride from the airport (skip the shuttle---taxi costs about the same at that distance.) I was there to see Tom Jones--fabulous!
