| I was expecting a higher level hotel, instead it was an average hotel room. The room had an ok decor, but the carpet looked quite old. The bath also did show its age, with a sink cracked and the tab/shower looking quite aged as well. they do offer free wifi, but considering that you have to pay $ 14.50 a day as "resort fee" I don't feel I got any deal. Also disappointed by the pool hours and price. In summary, not sure I will stay again. |

| Wave pool, lazy river, great fun for the kids and adults too! Rooms were large and clean, staff was friendly. Casino had lots of different slot machines to try. Restaurants were great, fast food, or fine dining. Buffet was a great value for all day pass and good food. |

| The front desk was quick, friendly and efficient with both check-in and check-out, unlike many of the other large Vegas hotels. The room would have been more comfortable if it had a lounge chair or something other than the desk chair or bed on which to sit. Water pressure in the shower was weak. Ceiling in shower was low and starting to show signs of water damage. |

| The monte Carlo is one of the few hotels on the strip where you can still stay without breaking the bank, we had 2 kids with us and loved the pool area they would have spent the whole day there.
The train connecting to the city center was a nice surprise with vegas so hot was nice not to have to walk in the hot sun or pay for over priced taxis. Also the resturants are wonderful again not over priced this may top be the top rated hotel on the strip but in our books is the top. |

| Our stay at the Monte Carlo was an enjoyable experience for us. Over all the rooms we had were ok one thing I did notice was that one of the electrical outlets was almost completely popped out of the wall. On our other room some of the appliances did not work. Thank God we had cell phones for wake up alarms. In the room where the phone worked the wake up call was on time but didn’t wake up for it so they sent somebody up to knock on our door. We also experienced some minor bathtub clogging but nothing that was too uncomfortable. The location of the hotel itself is great, its across the street from the New York New York and walking distance from The MGM and Excalibur which is where we watched a few shows. The only thing I don’t agree with is the resort fee, but that will be included anywhere you stay. We would have enjoyed the internet if it were Wi-Fi. The rest of the stuff that was included was not appealing to us which was the pool and the gym. Anyways you get what you pay for and we enjoyed it the staff was extremely friendly and would always greet us when we were seen in the halls. I recommend that you plan your trip well ahead of time and use the tram located at the MGM to go further up the strip. |

| I really wanted to stay at Aria, since it's the newest hotel, but it was pricey for the weekend we were going. So we decided to stay next door at the Monte Carlo. The best part was the tram from the Monte Carlo, to Aria/City Center, then off to Bellagio. So it was easy to access Aria and all the cool things at the City Center, but not have to pay the high price.
The Monte Carlo was a good mix of families and young single party people, so because of that, everyone was respectful that the families didn't want it to be crazy, and the party people were there to have a good time. This was evident at the pool, which was AMAZING! There was a wave pool and lazy river, which the kids dominated, but the party people still had 2 different pools to hang out in. There was a DJ at the pool during the weekend we were there, so it kept the fun going.
The staff was courteous. The casino was clean. The rooms were decent, nothing extravagant, but the beds were comfy. The room temperature was easily controllable. The bathroom was ehh. Our toilet had the loudest flush I've ever heard, and the sink gurgled. The shower head was awesome!
We had drinks at the Monte Carlo's "Brand" lounge because there was a guy out on the casino floor handling out 2 for 1 coupons. The DJ at that lounge was good.
When I go to Vegas, I like to eat at the high end restaurants, but on Saturday night I didn't have much time to eat and make it to our Criss Angel show, so we ate at the hotel's Dragon Noodle restaurant. It was surprisingly good, and very reasonably priced. They had chinese food, and sushi. The sushi was wonderful and fresh.
I also loved that there was a 24 hour food court with lots of choices for everyone. This came in handy when our flight was super delayed and we didn't get in until 11pm. Also it was nice to get some food in after a night of drinking.
So yes, I would recommend the Monte Carlo, just make sure you inspect your room for it's cleanliness, and make sure everything works. |

| I spent the extra $ for the suite. It was well worth the money. The spa in the room was great. Nice bar, and very roomy.
Go for it! Nice view from the 22 floor.
The only problem was the TV. Need more stations to watch. No National FOX only CNN |
