We travel thru Las Vegas at least two times a year and have stayed in many hotels over the years. I think the value we get at the Orleans is the best we have received. The rooms are very nice, larger than most hotel rooms. The bathrooms are good size and the showers are also very nice. I like having a little extra space with a sofa and chair. It has all the amenities that all hotels have, but I prefer the Orleans, even if it is off the strip. It is still worth it to stay there. There is also a facility for concerts etc. on the property which makes it convienent to attend and not have to worry about parking.

On our way to Los Angeles, this was a perfect overnight stop. We picked up our rental car upon late arrival at the airport. The Orleans was beautiful, clean, and offered all conveniences. It is just far enough away from the congestion and slow traffic of the Strip, yet very convenient to Interstate 15. Would highly recommend this property.

Great stay. We were there for two days and basically stayed there the entire time. Ate at the buffet twice, gambled, sat at the bar, went to the movies. The Orleans has everything.

July 2010 - We stayed for our 20 year anniversary and were so happy to have experienced the big, comfortable, clean rooms at the Orleans. From our room, we did not hear guests in other rooms, including above us. The bed is super comfortable. The pool is nice - advise to get there early if you want a good lounge chair location. The staff is friendly too. It is not too far from the Strip but too far to walk to if you ask me. There are plenty of taxi's and they zipped us right over for a dinner engagement. It is definitely a great place that is close to the Strip. Live band during the weekend but as far as I know there were no shows otherwise. Will be our first choice for accommodations on our next trip to Las Vegas.

We especially enjoyed the swinming pool which provided enough shadow to stay all afternoon outside in August depsite the sun shine and temperature. We appreciated the "All you can eat" at the buffet for the fair price and the express lane to avoid the queue, the bowling and all services provided in the hotel. We did not appreciate the surcharge for the refrigerator and the WIFI in the room.

Hotel was well maintained and in great condition. Hotel had plenty of dining choices and slot machines, but not much in the way of entertainment. The rooms were very nicely furnished and comfortable. Unfortunately, all was not well with our stay. We found bloody linen on our bed on one of the corners that was tucked in on our duvet and on the bed sheets under that. I contacted the front desk and they were quite courteous and sent someone right away. Housekeeping arrived along with who I suppose was their supervisor. I handed over the linen and advised her of the condition I found them in and how I came across them. She asked whether it was fresh and I advised her I was not going to touch it or investigate further. She then checked for herself and said it looked fresh. She left and the housekeeper changed the linens. I could not believe she tried to accuse us of being responsible for the filth.
