Boulder Highway, nicknamed "Boulder Strip", is lined with several popular hotel/casino properties, Arizona Charlie's Boulder Hotel & Casino, Boulder Station Hotel & Casino, Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall and Eastside Cannery Casino. This famous highway is a crossroads for I-515/US 95 and US 93 and a gateway to Henderson, Boulder City, Lake Mead Recreational Area and Hoover Dam. Boulder Hwy is about 5 miles southeast of Downtown Las Vegas and about 6 miles east of the Las Vegas Strip. The anchor of East Las Vegas is Sam Boyd Stadium, formerly known as Sam Boyd Silver Bowl. It is home to the UNLV Rebels football team but hosts a multitude of major sports events and concerts.
In Henderson, NV (a town of its own, but melds with East Las Vegas), is the luxurious Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa, the Fiesta Henderson Casino Hotel, Hawthorn Inn & Suites Henderson and Sunset Station Hotel & Casino.
Just 17 miles east of the Las Vegas Strip is the Mediterranean-themed resort, spa and residential oasis, Lake Las Vegas. The center of this upscale community is a 320-acre man-made lake with 10 miles of shoreline. The charming MonteLago Village offers beautifully-appointed condominium accommodations, cobblestone streets lined with unique shops and galleries and lakeside entertainment. World-class resort hotels Ritz-Carlton and Loews are also located within Lake Las Vegas. At this one-of-a kind destination, you can enjoy casual to gourmet dining, an elegant casino, spas, full-service marina with watercraft rentals, shopping and an abundance of serenity.
