This place is a bit outside the strip if that's where you're going. Cab rides cost me almost twenty dollars to go just four miles. The pool was nice, the room was clean and the breakfast buffet was great.

I would highly recommend the Palace Station as the place to stay in Vegas. The rates were great and the buffets were awsome. Take the tower rooms over the courtyard rooms. They are newer and were very clean and comfortable.

Stayed at PS for three days. Less busier then the strip. Great restaurangs with great pricing. Pool open until midnight is great so we could take a swim when we came back to the hotel at night. Hans

At check-in they offered an upgrade from the courtyard to the towers. The towers had just been remodeled and for $5.00 it was worth the upgrade. Fresh clean rooms and a great night's sleep. Breakfast buffet was delicious and a bargain!

An upcharge is added to your room for services I didnt even use - shuttle to strip, shuttle to airport, use of fax machine, etc. This upcharge is shown in very small print in the confirmation..I had reserved a smoking room and was told that there would be an additional night upcharge for a smoking room, doubling my reservation rate. The discount rate was for non smoking only - and that wasnt called out in the reservation. The bathroom had no tub - just a very small shower - I would not recommend this hotel, nor will I stay here again.

My oldest son, now 37 years old, was married at the Palace Station. Family and friends packed the hotel for the fabulous ocasion. We had such a great time. The service was great, the food was good and people won money. It was a great time for family and friends to be together. Then fast forward fifteen years and my husband and I return to the Palace Station, this time for our oldest granddaughter's basketball tournament. A lot has happen over the years, and also at Palace Station. We loved the renovations. The food at all the restaurants was excellent. The prices were affordable. I am a Starbuck junkie and I was able to get my daily cup. Oh yeah, we were still winning money. What a wonderful time we had talking about old memories and making new ones. Somethings never change...the service was just as I had remembered. If you don't want the hussle bustle of Las Vegas, Palace Station is the place to be. You can do everything you do on the strip there. Enjoy good food, take in a great show, and win some money.

Everything went as smooth as can be. We stayed in the tower 18th floor with a great mountain view and view of the Stratosphere. Something you can not see when staying at the Stratosphere. Shuttle bus picked us up at the airport on time. Other shuttles bring you straight to The Fashion Mall and back to the hotel all cay. From The Fashion Mall, you can walk everywhere. Save your money and stay here. But make sure you ask for a tower room. The pool area rooms are like little motels. They are not as attractive. BTW you will NOT need a rental car unless you plan on traveling to other areas of Nevada.

The hotel charged an additional $16.95 per day 'guest fee' that was not on the original quote. Wasn't a deal breaker but I probably should have contested it.
