The on site kids Quest was worth every penny! We got 5 1/2 hours a day without the kids and they were treated to a very good time.

The staff was very friendly (minus one particular dealer) and our rooms were clean and comfortable. It is off the strip but still close to everything you may want to do. I was also impressed that they supplied the bathrooms with aveda products. The only negative was the rooms are not very sound proof. We heard every conversation in the room next door. Overall it's a great hotel..

We loved the view and the room was extremely comfortable and larger than we expected since it is not a suite. It had a spa tub that was very relaxing following a long day of driving. The restaurants were reasonably priced with good food. I also won in the casino which may have colored my opinion. But we truly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is very inconvenient to the Las Vegas strip. A cab ride is always necessary to get to the other hotels and casinos. The walls are paper thin and you can easily hear people in your surrounding rooms. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

This was a beautiful hotel with a food court, nice restaurants and a movie theatre on the lower level. The pool was fabulous, but we were very disappointed that it closes daily at 6 PM. It was 114 degrees during the day and a night swim would have been nice.

If you get past the check-in experience, it is a great stay/value. The Palms is similar to the Hard Rock with a slightly lower rock star vibe. The room is excellent, the tables and slots are friendly. The pool is enjoyable but smaller and not exceptional. The buffet for breakfast is a value but the food quality/taste/preparation at lunch and dinner was a let down for the price. (stratoshphere buffet is exceptional value for quality) While in Vegas often, this may be a regular stay.

The Palms is an awesome hotel if you are looking for comfort and a really fun bar and pool scene. The Friday pool party is busy! Not the classiest joint in Vegas, but fairly down to earth, fun crowd. There were a lot of dudes but with any intiative at all guys, you will do well. For the price, cant beat the Palms. $10 cab to the strip, it's too hot in the summer to go running around the strip anyway, so staying in one place for 2 nights a way better call. If you cant afford the Venetian or Pallazzo, this is the spot.

My boyfriend and I stayed here July 4th weekend and enjoyed our stay. The casino is smaller which I liked because there was less smoke and fewer people - because its off the strip. Our room was comfy and clean and we had a view of the strip - ask for one at check-in. The mexican restuarant was good and so was the 24/7 cafe (can order and eat in your room). Simon restaurant in Palms Place is the best food I've had in Vegas. My only compliant was the music at the pool was REALLY loud, but that is the scene at the Palms. Would stay there again.

Check in went well, but I was NOT impressed by the hotel. There are several room pictures shown on this site for the Palms...including pictures from the Palms Resort. The Regular Palms looks nothing like the Resort which is where I thought I booked. It is off the strip and everyone at the hotel has this club-bouncer arrogance to them. It was really odd. There must also be something off with management because the staff was oddly aloof when I asked seemingly routine questions. The drinks were AWFUL no one was able to make a decent basic drink. There is not much in the way of late night food (after 10pm) here except room service. Becuase it is off the strip you have to settle for that too. No place to grab coffee in the morning except the food court.....umm not a food court kinda girl.
