Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was friendly. Subway and McDonalds in hotel came in handy.Hotel is located at start of Fremont St.

The Plaza was a nice hotel. They are in the process of renovating it, so it is not as nice as it will be. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you plan on being in bed before 3AM this might not be the best place to stay. The stage for Fremont St. was right outside of our window, and since I was there for work and not fun, it made it hard to sleep.  Overall it was a nice hotel for the money.

New room renovations are great,beds were very comfortable,rooms are good size but with small bathrooms.. The view from rooms is hit or miss but if you can get a view either down Fremont street or looking at North tower you will spend time just staring out the window. Casino still needs plenty of work. Lobby is updated although their was a peculiar smell  comming from this area. Checking- in took some time due to staffing.Great central location for visiting downtown casinos.Domed restaurant is still a must if you can get in.

they had some problem with hot water and phone lines were not working for me. no bother for me as they comped me a future night. this is the only time I have ever had a problem due to maintenance. Otherwise great place. great prices, great service and great location. very modern hotel and rooms!

The room was clean, and it was cool to see a different part of Vegas (downtown). The decor is super tacky and the parking garage and elevators look pretty ghetto, but overall it was a good stay. If you want to be close to the strip, this is NOT the place for you! But if you want to see the "Fremont Experience" and be around the original casinos like  the "Golden Nugget", it's a good experience. Like I said, it was a cheap and clean stay, but if you want to do any serious Strip cruising, you will have to drive a ways to get there.

I booked these rooms for 2 nights to take my mother and grandmother to Vegas. There were 6 in our party. I chose this hotel over others because a friend who is a Vegas local told me that the rooms had recently been renovated and were only a few months old. While smaller than the big casino's downtown, this place is nice and convenient and not "over  the top" which would have overwhelmed my mother and grandmother. The rooms were VERY clean and nice! My grandmother and mother were sitting in the room telling horror stories about places that they have stayed in in the past, and how this hotel was perfect for our needs, and very clean. The staff were very polite and never had a problem with them. The Subway and McDonald's in the lobby was convenient and familiar for them being so far from home. I took them to the big casino's and even though they were beautiful, they still liked "our" smaller convenient place. My grandmother is in a wheelchair and mother has a walker, the fact that we were able to walk out our door and do Freemont Street without any effort was PERFECT! The ONLY negative thing I can say is that they are still in the process of renovating a few areas and the parking garage and elevators need to be completed, but there are sign posted telling people they are working on these areas, so even though they don't make a nice first impression coming in through that entrance, please give them time and don't let that dissuade you! I was concerned about the noise from Freemont Street as there were live bands playing right out front of the hotel, however we never heard any noise from the band. When the light show was playing, I could detect a slight bass sound for those few minutes, but my mother and grandmother had their heater on and heard absolutely nothing, so noise was not a concern. On a personal note that would have made this THE most perfect hotel would be to put two pillows routinely on each sleeping space (4 pillows per bed). And also get raised, adjustabl

The newly remodeled Plaza was great and their people were better. From the door man to the casino floor workers, everyone was friendly and helpful. Concierge got us tickets for the same night to a very popular show on the strip. We had great service, good food and we will be back.
