We loved everything about this hotel. It was like staying in Italy! Absolutely luxury! The casino was bright and spacious - AND not a bit smokey!!! Brilliant place - thank you!

I came across the Ravella at Lake Las Vegas while on a travel website looking for a Spring Break destination. The pictures depicted a "Tuscan" style village on a lovely blue lake. So I booked our room and hoped for the best. I was shocked by the number of people that had NEVER heard of Lake Las Vegas. Living in Southern California, it seems like an  ideal location for couples and families. I began to get nervous. When we arrived, we were pleased with how beautiful the hotel and surrounding grounds were. The staff that checked us in and later offered us a much better room were efficient, helpful and extremely friendly. That was the case with everyone that worked in and around the hotel the week of our stay. The room was beautifully appointed with crisp, white linens, elegant furnishings and huge bathrooms. We were walking distance from the Village and Marina and sampled the restaurants. Our favorite was Auld Dubliner and Harry's. The restaurants are a bit pricey, but you can always make the short drive to Henderson to eat if you wish. My 13 year old daughter & friend enjoyed the freedom wander around on their own, feed the giant carp & ducks in the lake and rent a paddle boat. My husband enjoyed the casino & I loved the peace and quiet! The only problem during our week long stay was that the pool heater was not working, but the hotel management gladly refunded us the "Resort Fee" & offered to shuttle us to another hotel to swim. We hope to return soon!

With a 22 dollar per day "resort fee" you think they could hire a maid that could count. We had 3 people in our room and we only got 2 wash cloths. Everyday! I guess I could have called the desk, but why should I have had to. We were busy out of the room and forgot to fix the problem. But so did they. Also the room next to us played music very loud  on Saturday night. Like at 4 am. The only reason I did not call and report it to the desk was because the other people in my party slept though it. The hotel was not that busy and I don't know why they even put someone so close.

I would say that this property is indicative of the effects of the real estate market in Las Vegas. It was designed as a first class establishment but unable to support the services and conditions commensurate with this classification due to lack of demand. For the low rate we paid, we really cannot complain with the exception of the unheated pool.  The staff stated that alot of their pool equipment was damaged by a flood but it was down for the three nights we were there. The pool, the spa, and the beach were extremely dirty when we arrived and gradually improved throughout our stay. The property itself was in better, but similar condition. For a new property there were signs of neglect and deterioration. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and helpful, the village is pretty and offers quite a few dining options all of which are reasonably priced. Go in knowing what to expect and you will not be disappointed - in other words, it is no longer the Ritz Carlton it once was.

What a beautiful resort. Quiet and clean. Just what we wanted. A bit further from the strip than expected but worth it. We arrived during slack time so the pool wasn't maintained but we still had a great time, thank you!!

We had a great time staff was great and the room was perfect great views from every window and balcony. Environment was great for the romantic get away for my wife and i. Will recomend to everyone i know. This will be an ongoing thing with us cant eait to go again

I stayed at this property when it was owned by the Ritz, so my expectations of the hotel were high under the new ownership. Unfortunately, Ravella is not maintained the way the Ritz was. The staff was not friendly and attentive, the floors and carpets were dirty, there were spills and trash left on the floor, lights are out in the hallway, etc. It's  a shame that in a short period of time, this once beautiful hotel has gone down hill.

We don't reccommend that you book a room there, because they ended up CHARGING us an additional 50.00 fee for no reason what so ever! Over all it was a nice hotel although the layout was like a maze and they did not provide a map to get around.....

Been going to Vegas for 35+ years and have not had a better place to stay. This resort/hotel is for those who like quiet off the strip luxury at reasonable rates. Staff was as good as they come, facitities too notch and clean. Will stay there again. The roads are great and just about anything in Las Vegas is only 20 to 30 minutes away.
