| great drink deal at Rio, buy their suvenior cup that holds approx 4 drinks for $18 and $15 refills, great pool, need taxi to get to Mandalay Bay hotel but other hotels easy access with their free shuttle but allow travel time, no coffee pots in rooms but have Starbucks, make reservations for any meals because of wait time, went to Voodoo lounge and restuarant, pricey food, breath taking view, lounge was ritzy party scene. |

| The room itself was nice. Very big and clean - nothing special but comfortable. The casino is somewhere between the average strip hotel casino and the downtown hotel's. We stayed there because to the WSOP, so it was very convienient. The pools were refreshing and mostly adult oriented. |

| We love to stay at the Rio as it has some of the best rooms for the value anywhere in Las Vegas. Our suite was big and comfortable and had a separate refrigerator to put our own food in. The room also had a very comfortable lounge and sofa. The only negatives of our stay were the long walk from parking to reception and the long wait to check in at 5:00 p.m. on a Monday. |

| We always stay at the RIO because you get a fantastic large room with floor to ceiling windows that is squeaky clean and updated for an unbeatable price. Best overall combo of quality/price etc in Vegas. The hotel feels plenty classy (for Vegas) and the staff is unbelievably courteous and helpful. I had the best spa experience ever in my last visit and I've traveled all over the world. The staff at the SPA were constantly on point and persistently offered me help and free refreshments. Was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience that I highly recommend. The only bad thing about the RIO is the slightly inconvenient location about 1/2-3/4 mile off the strip but the free shuttle service makes up for it. |

| I was delighted that we were able to check in early. We saw the Chippendale Dancers and were totally delighted with it. Also, the variety of food services was good. We could eat quickly or take our time. The atmosphere was delightfully flashy and a little "gritty" in a good way. |

| VERY long check-in lines (45 min wait), room phone never worked (even after reporting to maintenance), carpet was not clean, and too far off the strip to walk. Otherwise, fairly quiet, good restaurant, great buffet. |

| Hotel rated 4 stars but would give it a 3 star. Room a little worn, i.e. wallpaper tattered in places. This was supposed to be the remodeled section which I paid a premium for.The sink and tub were clogged when we arrived, but were fixed when we complained. Hair from a previous guest were left on make up seat and bathroom floor. Maid staff was polite.
Pool was nice but hours were restrictive - 9 to 6.
This particular reservation pkg included a "24 hr./7 restaurant buffet" pass with the room. We used it only in the one Rio buffet and the line to be seated for that pass was excruciatingly long (especially with kids) compared to those diners paying the per meal rate. When I asked the hostess why the difference in wait time and was the manager aware of the wait time of about an hour for us, and everyone else in that line, I got a crooked look from her and a simple 'yes' answer. Skip the Buffet of Buffets deal! |

| While we had a bit of a problem at check-in, it was quickly corrected the next morning. The suites are huge, well furnished and very comfortable. The food outlets are very good (the Carnival Buffet is amazing!), vary in price widely and strangely all close fairly early. Room service, on the other hand runs 24/7.
The resort is off of the Strip, but they run a regular free shuttle to a few of the on Strip Harrah's properties. We never had a problem getting a cab and there is plenty of covered parking if you rent a car.
The in-house entertainment is fun. They have little stages set up throughout much of the gaming area where "bev ertainers" will occasionally dance. And the Show in the Sky is not to be missed.
It is a younger crowd than say Caesar's Palace, but mostly well behaved.
We will probably stay here again. |
