| Everything at the Riviera was just as we expected. Only problem was the parking on Saturday night. Both structures were full and even majority of the outside parking was taken. Luckily we were able to find a spot out in the boon docks. Hopefully they can build a larger structure. Other than that, the Wizard of Oz slot machine is AWESOME! Will come back just to play that fun machine. =) |

| The Riviera has definitely seen better days. All or most of the rooms have been renovated though. The best thing this hotel has to offer are its amazingly comfortable beds and pillows! We slept like babies and definitely appreciated the investment they put into their beds! We stayed in the North Tower. Only complaint about the room was no bathroom counter space to speak of.
Not impressed with the general hotel atmosphere. The buffet was lackluster and the majority of servers in the coffee shop and buffet gave off a gruff vibe. However, the buffet across the street at Circus, Circus was decent and better quality. |

| The price and the room were excellant. I have stayed in over 20 hotels in Vegas in the past 35 years and this one was great. My only complaint is the time required to check in and out. |

| The Riveria Hotel is in a great location if you are attending an event at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Freeway access is close by if you drive. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. The rooms have been updated and are very clean and comfortable. Have been stayed at the Riveria Hotel many times over the years and will continue. |

| I always book my stay at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas as it is close to where I have our Business and the Staff is outstanding and Kady's Restaurant is always good. You do not have to walk "Blocks" to the elevator to your room. Old School is better. |

| You get what you pay for... first the rooms are clean and, while a little old, well maintained.
Riviera uses a kiosk for check-in, with a clerk, the clerks were a little surly -- and having to type everything into the kiosk (while the clerk stood by doing nothing) was dumb. I mean everything, you had to type scan your credit-card, then type your name, then wait, then type your full address, and so on... all information they already had with the reservation and the clerk could have accessed instantly.
The grounds and especially the inadequate parking garage was filthy. Stairwells had not been cleaned for days, if not weeks.
Suggestion -- park in the conference center garage.
Valet closed too early (if it was ever open), both days when we returned valet was already closed.
Pub was pleasant, coffee shop was fair (think greasy spoon). Did not try the steak house (it also always seemed closed). Also did not try the buffet (which from the pictures was small) -- you have to pay before you can see it, then travel up a very narrow escalator to the actual restaurant.
Riviera is perfectly situated for anything you may want to do at the Hilton or LV Convention Center -- though I recommend driving, a taxi ride even though it is right across the street can cost you nearly $10. |

| For an older building, the Rivera is still in pretty good condition. The room was okay. Cleaniness is always main concern when staying in a hotel and it was definitly clean. We could hear people walking down the hall and our neighbors and their shower which was slightly annoying. Also the fact that this hotel is located a little further away from shopping and the nicer casinos makes it slightly less of a desirable location for me personally. But if you need somewhere cheap to stay and don't mind the bother of traveling down the strip a bit to actually do stuff, the Rivera isn't bad. Also, just a warning... don't go to the resturant in the hotel, it's absolutely terrible. |
