| A short guide to The Strip |
|
Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

| Recreation |
|
Fit in a workout at the onsite gym (located inside the spa; single use or multiple day passes are available). Then cool off at the Oasis Pool Complex or tan in the tranquil, sunny courtyard. Relax in chaise lounges with poolside cocktail service, or take advantage of poolside patio dining.
For some low-stakes gaming, there are two lighted tennis courts and an arcade room. Shops located throughout the casino sell jewelry, flowers, and Riviera memorabilia. For a permanent keepsake, 3 Lions Tattoo Studio offers custom tattoo design and application.

| Dining at Riviera |
|
Along with its traditional steakhouse, the Riviera offers plenty of casual dining options. Hop over to Hound Doggies 1950s-style diner for burgers and shakes, or browse the food court for more eclectic flavors, like the curries at Indian Masala. In addition to 24-hour room service, there are always a couple of restaurants to choose from, day or night.
Queen Victoria's British Pub - This 24-hour pub is owned and operated by Englishmen who offer the best of authentic Brit culture: live English "football" matches, fish and chips, and 20 beers on tap served in imperial pints (4 more ounces than the 16 ounce American pint.)
The Riv Buffet- The Riv Buffet offers a wide array of selections for exceptional prices. Choose from a variety of delicious Chinese, Mexican, Italian and American/Barbecue dishes for lunch and dinner. The Riv Buffet is a great place to satisfy any appetite where everyone can indulge for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner seven days a week.
Kady's Coffee Shop - If lady luck is on your side, stop by this 24-hour joint that takes the hottest bet at the Riviera: the Hot Taco Challenge. Finish this foot-long zinger that tops out at 750,000 SHU on the Scoville Heat Scale, and not only will you get it for free, you'll be immortalized in Kady's Hall of Flames.

| Overview |
Occupying its north Strip location since 1955, the Riviera Hotel and Casino takes its cues from the stars of that era: stylish, handsome, and elegant. Situated between downtown Vegas' retro flair and the glitz and glam of the Strip’s mega-casinos, the Riviera offers an affordable blend of classic and contemporary. At the “Riv” you’ll avoid the throngs of daytime sightseers and late night revelers, with access to plenty of entertainment and dining just outside your room. Step back into swanky 1960s Las Vegas with a vintage cocktail or experience the wild world of modern Vegas by catching the in-house hypnotist or the Crazy Girls topless dance show. When you're ready to get down to business, the casino comes with all the Las Vegas gaming you'd expect--table games, video games, and slots--but without the crowds. The Riviera has got you covered with table service, buffet options, and a food court. Get your morning java boost at Jitters, located in the lobby, or a bite to eat at the Poolside Cafe Restaurant. When you've had your fill, a morning workout or afternoon massage at the Riviera spa is just a short walk away. Hotel Rooms are located in 5 towers that offer easy access to different parts of the hotel and casino. Relax in front of your flat-screen TV with 24-hour room service, or dock your iPod on the clock radio and listen to your favorite tunes. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge.
