Suites at the Tahiti Village are designed with tropical elements of rich woods, ceramic tile, granite, and plantation style furnishings, and feature separate living rooms, bedrooms and private bathrooms, as well as kitchens that are are fully equipped with cooking utensils and silverware. The resort is an oasis in the midst of the Las Vegas action, with a lagoon style outdoor pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, as well as an equipped exercise room, hot tub, clubhouse and gift shop.

Tahiti Village is situated on Las Vegas Boulevard, two miles south of The Strip. A complimentary shuttle departs the hotel every half hour, transporting guests to and from three Strip casinos. Las Vegas Outlet Center shopping is one block away.
A sprawling freeform pool, surrounded by palapas and palm trees, has a shallow children's section, a waterfall, and a section with a sand beach. Tahiti Joe's, the on-site restaurant, features Tahitian cuisine for lunch and dinner, and a 24-hour lounge.
Also open 24 hours a day are a fitness center and a business center with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Family and children's activities, including water aerobics and treasure hunts, are held daily (surcharge).

Guest suites feature king beds, queen sofa beds, and separate living rooms. All include full kitchens or kitchenettes with granite countertops, stainless-steel microwaves and refrigerators, coffeemakers, and cookware/dishes.
All rooms also include stereos with CD players, TVs with cable and pay movies, and DVD players. TV Internet access is available for a surcharge.
Two-bedroom suites and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens also include patios or balconies, 42-inch plasma-screen TVs, two-person jetted tubs, and steam showers.
Full-service housekeeping is provided once a week. Towel-service and trash pick-up is available on a daily basis upon request.

| The location is not convinient for short term stay. (The hotel staff are not friendly.) This place is good for long term stay. Pool is good, the restaurant is just ok. |

| Tahiti Village is a great location - off the strip and near the airport. The kids absolutley loved it! The pool and lazy river were awesome. There was also an activity room with pool table and foozball. Very close to mall/outlet mall and restaurants if you don't want to eat on the st rip. You can take a shuttle to the strip if you don't want to get stuck in traffic. I would definitely recomment this hotel. |

| Very nice hotel. Festive atmosphere. Spacious room (2 bedrm suite). Kitchens added convenience. Spacious balcony. Very nice pool and lazy river. Tihiti Joe's restaurant has good food, nice atmosphere, and tempting specials-good portions and good value. (The hotel staff did not recommend this restaurant when asked, and I wonder why.)
Carpets a little dirty, mattress and pillows not very comfortable. There was a washer/dryer hook up in my room, but no machines. The laundry room for the hotel was inconveniently located, and no soap/supplies in the laundry room (added hassle). The airplanes flying overhead were a little loud and distracting around the pool, but the convenience to the airport was nice. The Tiki bar at the pool was closed-disappointing-could have made the stay a little more memorable. Would have LOVED to see the torches lit in front of the hotel and in the pool area. That was a little disappointing as well. Parking near our room was very limited, but there was a free garage on the other side of the complex. Not as desirable when dragging luggage after a tiring day of travel.
Very nice place to stay -great family destination. Would have loved to use the spa, but ran out of time! |

| Tahiti Village was a great choice--not on the strip.The two room suite coldn't have been any nicer. (Booked as 1 BR with kitchenette.) The sitting area made it nice to visit with family. The resort was very lush. Didn't have time to enjoy the lazy river or pool. We didn't want to be on the strip. The location next to the airport made it simple to get up and get to the airport. (no noticeable airport noise). We got into our room early, parking garage made things easy. Denny's on site very convenient. |

| Excellent experience. My kids LOVED sandy beach, pool is very kids friendly. Room was spacious, we had two bedroom deal because my mother went with us, and it was spacious. Tub was not as clean as I would like it,but I did not use it. Furniture needs update. Staff is super friendly, and was very helpful with all our questions. Towels and garbage were picked up on timely matter. Outlet mall is right next to it, shopping heaven. Also has multi food court so we did not cook much. Store is close by and staff gave us excellent directions. Overall I loved our stay however, my husband and I will visit Vegas soon without kids and will stay on strip just because of convenience. If we ever decide to take our kids with us, Tahiti Village is a place to stay. |

| Nice place to stay off the strip, but was disappointed in a few things. First, after booking thinking I got a fair rate for what I was getting, I received an email letting me know that they would not be cleaning the room each day and that if I wanted new towels each day we could request them. If we did want our room cleaned we would need to pay an additional $35 per day. Typically, when you pick the price of the room, that is part of what you consider in the value for the price.
The room itself was a very nice size for two adults and two older teenagers. Something had happened in the construction however and all the doors - especially the entry door - stuck so much you had to throw your entire body weight behind it just to get the door to open. All the other doors stuck when you tried to close or open them making a pretty loud noise waking others in the room.
We had a sewer smell in our room from the moment we arrived and called to have someone come and take a look at it. It was coming through the coat closet near the kitchen (disgusting). We called three separate times and spoke to the concierge in our building. We received three different stories as to why we were experiencing the smell - the entire building had it, they were doing maintenance on the plumbing and it would be complete later that day, etc. Finally, when a maintenance person arrived, they indicated it was the first time they had been made aware of it and he found the trap to the bathroom had been allowed to go dry. He poured some deodorizer in the trap and the smell went away within a few minutes. We had to live with it for over a day and a half.
Overall, it is a pretty nice property and a great place for families to stay. The staff is nice and the pool was nice, but lots of smaller children. The strip is not within walking distance, but they have a shuttle that will drop off at a couple of the hotels on each end of the strip. |

| (+) This was a GREAT family destination with NO smoke from what I saw! We loved the pool areas and it's located just before the chaotic strip. We loved the kitchenette and amenities. We would have liked to use the (aromatic) public BBQ pits but didn't get around to it.
(-) There were a few things in disrepair (the DVD player wasn't hooked up properly) but the maintenance men were quick to access the back panel and re-wire it. |

| This was my second time staying @ tahiti village. I will always stay at the tahiti village for my Las Vegas stay overs. I love the atmosphere of the rooms, it beats the 2 beds & a bathroom like a regular hotel. |
