Whether one night only, limited engagement, or a monthly break from reality, Las Vegas events include a stellar lineup of entertainment for March and April.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Flogging Molly
St. Paddy’s Day in Vegas? Why not? Flogging Molly, a hard-driving Celtic punk rock band, is loud and Irish proud. Their Green 17 tour stops for one night only, March 16 at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center, as part of the Dublin Down Festival. Click here for ticket information.
Elton John, the Million Dollar Piano
Elton John recently kicked off his new show at Caesar’s Palace, and has quickly become one of the hottest tickets in town. The focal point of the show (besides Elton, of course) is the show’s namesake, a magnificent piano created by Elton in collaboration with Yamaha. The one-and-a-half ton marvel, which took more than four years to build, features LED screens that flash images that complement the singer’s greatest hits.
The show is slated to run for three years. Performance dates vary, so check the web site for ticket information.
MGM Grand
American rock band 311 comes to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a limited engagement March 10-11. Click here for information and tickets for this and other upcoming performances by George Strait, Neil Diamond and David Copperfield. Tickets for selected Copperfield dates are 20% off through March.
Monster Jam World Finals
Love big trucks with even bigger tires? The Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals will take place March 23-24 at Sam Boyd Stadium. Come and watch Grave Digger, Avenger, and Maximum Destruction rumble and roar for the championship. Click here for information.
